His talking has exploded in the past two days. He will talk to whatever he can find...mirrors, toys, mommy, daddy, sister, etc. He is always so serious when he's telling a story too...no smiles, just complete concentration. We have really been enjoying listening to him and seeing him learn more every day!

Our Beautiful Kiddos!

Here are a few of my favorites from Jessica's 7 year photos. They were having a fairies and fisherman promotion and the manager called me and asked me to bring Jessica in for this promotion because she remembered her from our family pictures. Jessica had so much fun taking all the pictures and they turned out really cute! My favorite is the top right photo.

The top left is the same as the one above but I really like the bronze effect they do. Here are a few of the kids together. When I created the collage it cut Jett's name off...it is spelled with two T's! It wouldn't let me edit it though...sorry!

Here are Jett's three month photos...my favorite in this group is the beach photo.

I LOVE all these! He was getting sleepy during his pictures but he still did a great job! I can't believe my little man is three months old already!

We don't have another doctors appointment until he turns 4 months so I'm not sure exactly what he weighs now or how long he is but he is growing no doubt about it! He's outgrown all of his 0-3 month clothes and he's even wearing some 6-9 months.

Here are some of his milestones this month:

• Taking naps in his bed!!!
• Reaching and batting at objects
• More exaggerated talking
• Going swimming - He LOVES being in the water!

Jett's first swim!

Today we went swimming at McDaniel's pool. At first I just intended to put his feet in the water and let him hang out in the shade but once he got used to the water we ended up all the way in. He LOVED it! He cuddled up to me and almost fell asleep. He stayed under his big shade hat and I put a wet blanket over his shoulders and back so he wouldn't get sun burned and he completely relaxed and enjoyed it. He actually cried when we got out!

These are a few pictures of our neighbor, Jack, and Jett the other day. Jack was loving on him and they were so cute!

Jessica got some really cute pictures taken at Sears a few weeks ago and I have them on CD but the CD drive on my computer isn't working. I hope to get them transferred over to a flash drive this weekend and then I'll post those too. She was with us swimming today too but she wasn't above the water long enough to get any pictures of her! She was wearing her goggles and having a blast doing back flips and diving for the water rings!

Jessica is 7 now!

We had Jessica's birthday party on Sunday and it turned out great! All her friends were able to come except one so she was very excited about that. They all had fun playing in the bounce house, it ended up being a little warm but for the most part they didn't seem to notice. I couldn't (and still can't) find my camera so I'm not able to upload any pictures right now. Thankfully Nana had her camera and took plenty of photos, I will be getting those from her this week so I will upload them as soon as I'm able.

Today we took Jessica to Best Buy to spend her gift card she got for her birthday, while we were there we found out that we can get on the Internet from our Wii! I'm able to get on the Internet so much easier with that! I don't have to go downstairs to update the blog now so hopefully I'll be able to do it a little more often again! Not to mention it is pretty cool and much easier on the eyes to have the full screen on our TV!

Anyway I will get pictures uploaded as soon as I get them from Nana.

Two month check up

We had Jett's two month check up yesterday. He weighed 11 lbs 9 oz and was 23 1/2 inches long. He is in the 50th percentile for both now. Poor little guy had to get shots yesterday, I'm not sure who cried more...me or him! We gave him Tylenol all afternoon and he ran a bit of a fever and seemed to be uncomfortable at times but he is doing well so far today so hopefully he isn't too stiff and sore.

While the doctor was checking him over he pulled his diaper off a bit and peeked at him and said "mmmm.....healthy!" Kevin and I thought it was hilarious and of course Kevin was extremely proud "That's my boy!"
