We are having a hard time coming up with baby names (especially boys) so feel free to post your suggestions in the comments section of this post! We would love to see them!!!

13 Weeks

Last week of the first trimester!!! I'm ready for the boost of energy "they" say comes with the second trimester and I'm ready for the whole "morning" sickness thing to go away, it has improved drastically from a few weeks ago but there is still room for improvement! 12 Weeks!

Here is a picture at 12 weeks...it is more difficult to take a side view picture of yourself than I realized!

I don't need maternity clothes yet but I do have one pair of maternity jeans and I do wear them since they are more comfortable than my regular ones right now. I'm quickly entering that in between stage...too big for regular clothes, too small for maternity.

Our weekend project:

It was pretty sad and pathetic, the three bushes in the middle were dead when we moved in and we weren't able to revive them.

That was pretty much our main focus for the weekend so I don't have anything else to report. Hope you all had a great weekend.

Update from our Dr Apppintment Yesterday

Our midwife said everything is measuring just fine and the baby's heartbeat is strong and at 160. I've gained 3 lbs during my first trimester and the best news is she said I could have as many limeaides as I want!

11 Weeks today!

Well everyone keeps telling me relief is right around the corner and I should start feeling better soon since I've almost completed the first trimester...I hope they are right!

I did find a wonderful little treat today...Cherry Limeaide from Sonic! NOTHING sounds good at all lately, nothing to eat, nothing to drink, flat out NOTHING. So today my mom mentioned limeaide and I didn't grimace. Then the longer the thought hung around the better it sounded...finally about 12:30 I broke down and went and bought a Cherry Limeaide. It was the best thing I've had since I became pregnant! AND the best part is it stayed down! I'm so excited about my new find that I'm planning to go get another one before I pick up Jessica! Sonic has 1/2 price drinks between 2-4pm! Ahh the simple things!

I have my next appointment with our midwife on Friday so we should get to listen to the heartbeat then!

10 Weeks and counting....

Yesterday we hit the 10 week mark, we are 1/4 of the way through! Click here to learn what the baby is doing this week. We have our next appointment with our midwife on the 19th so we should be able to hear the heartbeat for the first time then.

I'm doing okay with the "morning" sickness as long as I take my pills regularly. I still don't feel fantastic but at least I'm not hanging my head in the toilet 24/7. Last week I tried to ween myself off the pills because I thought I was starting to feel better (key word there was THOUGHT), I was taking 1/2 a pill in the afternoons and still feeling pretty good. That lasted about 5 days and then I started getting sick again. I very quickly went back to my regular dosage and I'm doing much better.
